I am so very pleased,and honored, to be able to offer my opinion regarding my experience with the wonderful gentlemen who make up R&D Landscape LLC.
These fine young men have been in my life for the past two years. They have literally transformed my father’s property and mine into such wonderful sanctuaries.
When R&D first came into my life, they were asked to clean up a major landscaping project on my father’s project that a previous landscaper had dragged out and then just abandoned. The suggestions — as well as their “can do” attitude put me at ease and I soon found out what a professional landscape company was all about.
Whether they were taking down a tree or placing mulch down or separating hostas or doing a walk-through in the yards, they always had time to spend with me. Their experience, as well as their patience, was refreshing and everytime I met with a representative from R&D, it proved to be a rewarding experience.
Other than being polite and exceptionally hard-working young men, they were always willing to work with a situation and fine-tune it to meet my needs. And the ideas they would come up with for the properties have been so unique. Truly, R&D have placed just the perfect touches in the yards that make me want to fuss about and spend more time in them.
I sincerely thank R&D for not only improving my property, but being such wonderful gentleman to hire and be around. I would never hesitate to recommend them to my friends.

We would like to thank you and your staff for the excellent performance of preparing and redoing different areas listed below:
1. Reworking of the competitive soccer field. This area had been redone by others two times since the original field had been created in 1997 but never held up like it does now.
2. Reworking the stone dust on the infields of the competitive baseball and softball fields. Prior to your work, a ball hit into the infield tended to bury into the loose surface. No longer does this happen.
3. Reworking the lawn area surrounding the new Administration Building and adding two landscaping areas. This was done in the fall of 2008 and [as of February, 2009] already has started to fill in and showing a dark green color.We are all looking forward with great anticipation to seeing the new lawn and landscaping this coming spring.

Firing snowplow contractors used to be a common occurrence here. Despite walking tours and placing marker stakes, they’d tear up lawns, push rock gardens across the lot, break off sidewalk corners, pile up snow and ice on nursery trees and do a half-hearted job of clearing the snow, besides. That all came to a screeching halt when Doug signed us up five years ago (time flies when you’re having snow). R&D Landscape’s drivers are careful and courteous and plow my C-shaped lot as if they own it. And their rates are among the lowest in the region. I founded my media production business over 34 years ago and my company’s image and my property’s street appeal remain among my top concerns. My vendors have to prove that they share my concerns or they’re gone. R&D Landscape proves their worth to me, my employees and customers each time they plow.

Image is everything! We at Hasselbring Clark pride ourselves on our image in
the community and certainly our facilities offer an impression to all who pass and visit our office daily. It was with those high standards in mind that I sought a company to keep our grounds well maintained. In 2003 I first spoke with Russell and Doug and learned of their recent partnership in R&D Landscape. It was at that time that I decided to give them a try. I have never been happier! They started that season mowing our lawn.R&D services are always handled professionally. They employ hard working people, using well-maintained equipment, guaranteeing on time, scheduled services. They are thorough in their work and competitively priced. It is no surprise that our relationship has grown to encompass more than just a lawn mowing service. I have turned over all areas of my outdoor maintenance to R&D to include aerating, fertilizer applications, tree trimming, mulching, and clean up jobs. We also used their landscape services when they designed and installed custom steps and a hand railing solution, helping to connect our two parking lots, offering our employees a safer access to their cars. I have also used R&D’s snow plowing services the last three years and have always been pleased to find my lots plowed when I arrived in the morning as we agreed. There has been several times this winter that they have checked back throughout the day to clean the lot of the days’ snow fall prior to our employees’ departure for the day .The safety and convenience of a well maintained lot gives me peace of mind knowing that I have done my part in ensuring a safe arrival to our door.

We at Emerald Isle Condominiums have been very happy with the lawn service given by R&D Landscape. We have found them to be responsible, caring, and truly interested in doing a good job. They mow, trim, and blow cuttings off drives and sidewalks on a typical mowing day. R&D also edges our asphalt and concrete areas as requested. Additionally they bag unwanted grass cuttings and provide services for spring and fall clean up to our complex. For their quality lawn care we highly recommend R&D Landscape.

I have used R&D Landscape on several different occasions for projects large and small. They have done complete landscaping around my homes and also a very large lawn seeding project. They have done several drain projects to get water away from my homes.
Every project has been completed in a professional and timely manner. Their staff are all very polite, courteous and friendly.

In the spring of 2001 we were ready to finish the landscaping around our three-year-old home. We called the number on a flyer that had been left in our paper box to get an estimate. Impressed with Russ and Doug’s artistic ideas, eagerness to work and readily apparent integrity we decided to hire them to install a flagstone walkway and planting beds. We were pleased with the outcome and since then have employed R&D every summer to take care of our lawn, trees and shrubs. Building on their previous ideas in the fall of 2007, Russ and Doug designed and installed the landscaping around an addition to our house.
